The September 2022 issue of Washingtonian magazine compiled its first-ever list of practicing attorneys who have been named to the publication’s “Top Lawyers” list for at least ten of the past 15 years. Four Schertler Onorato Mead & Sears attorneys received this “Lifetime Achievement” honor: David Schertler, Danny Onorato, Chris Mead, and Robert Trout. Washingtonian selects candidates for its Top Lawyers list by sending “surveys to hundreds of local lawyers, asking them whom they would trust if they needed legal counsel themselves.” By compiling a Lifetime Achievement roll of the attorneys “who appear year after year” on the Top Lawyers list, Washingtonian identified the local lawyers considered to be “the best of the best among their peers.” Washingtonian’s directory of Top Lawyers is accessible here: Washington, DC’s Top Lawyers – Washingtonian.
