The 2022 edition of U.S. News – Best Lawyers® “Best Law Firms” has awarded Schertler Onorato Mead & Sears Tier 1 rankings in Washington, D.C. in the areas of white-collar criminal defense, general criminal defense, bet-the-company litigation, and commercial litigation, as well as a Tier 3 metropolitan ranking in securities litigation. The firm’s white-collar criminal defense practice also received a Tier 2 national ranking. The “Best Law Firms” list is a joint undertaking of U.S. News & World Report and Best Lawyers. To be eligible for a ranking, a firm must first have a lawyer recognized in The Best Lawyers in America®, which recognizes 6% of lawyers practicing in the United States.
