David Dickieson Obtains Dismissal in NFL Players Association Arbitration

OCTOBER 2016

Schertler & Onorato partner David Dickieson represented prominent National Football League agent Drew Rosenhaus and defeated a claim brought against him by another NFL-certified Contract Advisor.  The allegation was that Mr. Rosenhaus had improperly induced a star Denver Broncos linebacker to leave his former agent and join Rosenhaus Sports Representation’s list of approximately 100 NFL clients.  The NFL Players Association Arbitrator found that Mr. Rosenhaus’s actions were proper and that no improper inducements were used to convince the player to swap agents.  All claims against Mr. Rosenhaus for damages and injunctive relief were dismissed.
