David Schertler, Danny Onorato, Robert Trout, and Amy Conway-Hatcher Receive Chambers USA 2023 Rankings

In its newly released 2023 guide, Chambers USA ranked four Schertler Onorato Mead & Sears attorneys as leaders in the District of Columbia white-collar criminal defense and government investigations field. David Schertler received a prestigious Band 1 ranking with commentary that he “is a fearless trial lawyer with a highly credible presence” and “is widely acclaimed for his work defending individuals in high-stakes criminal trials and complex investigations.” Danny Onorato ascended to a Band 2 ranking with commentary on his “really good strategic approach” to cases. Robert Trout received a Band 3 ranking and was described as “extremely credible and very honest” with “good instincts as a trial lawyer, focusing on what is important.” Amy Conway-Hatcher received a Band 4 ranking and was recognized for her “broad practice, encompassing both corporate defense and individual representation, in criminal and civil investigations and enforcement proceedings.” SOM&S is gratified to receive these recognitions from Chambers and Partners, often referred to as “the gold standard” in law firm and attorney rankings based on the reach and depth of its research process.
